Glen Marine Loading Arm
The loading & unloading arm is designed to transfer liquids and gases between the pipe system of a jetty and tanker or barge articuate freely during the transfer, to following the normal movements of moored vessels. The units are used in wide(a) range of applications from cryogenic to high temperature products, and they can transfer the most hazardous and corosive fluids. The loading & unloading arms are used (applied) in all areas of processing industry chemical, petrochemical, LNG, LPG storage terminals, pharmaceutical, health-care, and beverage. The symmetric design divides he mechanical force equally within the loading arm structure, which makes the unit especially suited for extraordinary. It can be equipped with a range ofMonitoring system to provide visual and audible alarms prior to the ships manifold moving outside the nor working envelope. It can be maneuvered manually, electro-hydraulically depending on loading arm size, type and duty.

Emergency Release Device(ERC):
ERC is fixed on the vertical pipe of the triple swivel joints, to disconnect the loading arm with vessel in emergency case during operation to avid or reduce the Sudden accident for kepping the jetty and persons safe and property loss.
Emergency case:
(1)Fire happen at site, the operator can not approach the loading system,
(2)Typhoon happen at site, the operator can not apprach the loading arm,
(3)Tide difference or other reasons lead the vessel drift out of its working envelop.
Hydrulic QC/DC:
The device is usually being used at the extreme end of the loading arm, to make sure the arm quick connected with the manifold flange of vessel while both of the flanges is nearer. The main merit is as follow:
1.quick connect and disconnect automatically;
2.Need not to adapt different connector with the flange of the vessel and arm, and hence cnnect directly.
All actions such as connect tightly and disconnect can be aolely operated with a remote controller, so it can reduce labor greatly And it can be manually operated to disconnect with the vessel in case the electro-hydraulic control system is failure.
