EVA RUBBER SOLID FLOATING FENDER

Foam Filled Fenders are versatile, robust and suitable for almost all applications. It uses high elastic foaming EVA as buffer medium,spira reinforcemrnt in the middle and Polyurea coating at outside. The EVA foam we use in the constraction of our Foam Filled Fenders is the closed cell type. It is made from Ethylene Vinyl Acetate and blended copolymers. It has a high level of chemical cross linking.

These foams are flexible and esilientmaking them ideal for fendering products. Importantly, thefoams are also chemically inert and nonabsorbent making them suitable for use in marine nvironments.

Features of Glen EVA Foam Filled Fenders:
1.Core material is closed and lyophobic. It is not bibulous even if damaged.
2.Polyurea protection layer can resist strong impact force and friction.

Berthing Approach System(BAS)

The Berthing Approach System (BAS) is used for safe berthing of vessels by measuring the distance, speed and angle of the ship’s bow and stern section in relation to the berth fenders and triggers alarms during the final sideways berthing phase. The BAS comprise the systems to determine a vessels bow and stern approach velocity and display this information on an LED Display, handheld pagers and within the Shore Control Centre. ► The BAS consist of the following components:   ◎ 2 No. lasers   ◎  1 No. large Numeric LED Display   ◎ 2 No. handheld Pagers ► Lasers The lasers shall have the following minimum specifications as listed in Table 9.
